Singer, songwriter and accordionist, Angel Corpus Christi (ne: Andrea Ros) has carved out a niche all her own releasing 5 albums and numerous singles that highlight her oft-nonchalant musings over off-kilter production and a post-punk-pop aesthetic.
Following the success of her covers of punk and post-punk inspirations in “I Love NY”, Angel has released another 4 albums, often of her own material as well continuing to release many cover songs including Little Surfer Girl and Louie Louie and a varied range of artist from The Ramones and Lou Reed to Mötley Crüe and Elvis.
Her production credits and co-collaborators are just as interesting, with the aforementioned Suicide sitting alongside the likes of Herb Alpert, Craig Leon and Dean Wareham and she can even be heard playing accordion on Spiritualized’s album Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space.
